"Zoo Meds Leopard Gecko Food" magor ingredient small lab raised flies. does this sound ok? i got it from a friend. my leo doesn't seem to like it cuz he wont get neer the dish www.zoomed.com thanks for any help!
Canned foods typically smell horrible. I wouldn't get near the dish either. You also can't be sure of what they have fed the insects. Where as live feeders, you can gut load with whatever you choose. My leo won't eat anything that's not moving either.
Yeh, i'm not suprised that your leo won't go near it. Have you smelt that stuff lol! Nutrition wise, i think it has more or less a complete diet, but getting your leo to eat it is another thing. Few have had success with it, but many haven't.
ya i smelt it and man its terrible. it said to lightly mist it if he doesnt want it but i dont think that would help.
yeah some guy i got my gecko kept trying to feed him that stuff, he gave me that, some water treatment, some blue sand, a heat rock, the gecko, and hide made out of 2 plywood pieces and thats it for $20. I threw everything out but the gecko. Don't bother with the zoomed fly stuff, go with live moving food.
