Hiya, We changed Draculs uv bulb today to the above uv bulb and was a little confused so was wondering if anyone can clear something up for me, the 5.0 and the 8.0 i have been changing every 6 months, the petshop has said to me that i only need to change the new 10% bulb every 12 months is this correct? thanks in advance
Nope, that's not correct. Glad you checked here!! All UVB Tubes (fluorescents) need to be changed every 6 months, regardless of what the packaging and/or pet stores say. It has been tested and proven that the UVB output is significantly diminished to the point it's useless for a dragon after 6 months.
